I was 11 years old and was dropped at this concert by myself and the concert was loud amazing and ended up being one of the most stand out concert in my life. Because of my age remembering everything not being drunk and of course seeing AC/DC with Bon Scott as their lead singer. Angus Young in his school uniform bouncing across and around the stage as he did at other AC/DC concert that I went to.

My mate and I rode our bicycles down to the show. We were 16. It was at the old Garden Movie theatre that was converted into a Basketball stadium. We had seen AC/DC on Countdown and were happy to pay our $3.50 entry fee. This was a fantastic night. The energy in the room was electric and the boys really rocked the place. Bon out front and all the original members doing what they did best High Voltage Rock and Roll. A great night and I knew then they would take the world by storm.

This was my first live concert and what a concert. I had just returned from “schoolies” at Yamba. I went with 3 school mates to watch AC/DC at the old Garden Theatre. We visited the Jacaranda Hotel both before and after the show and had a most memorable night. Bon was out front and over the top and Angus was going off on lead, including jumping on top of a large speaker that was taller than him. I have been avid fan ever since and fortunate to see them live on 3 other occasions. One hell of a band.
