I never saw AC~DC perform in Sorrento but I do remember walking past Tom Catz night club and in the door window was a poster that caught my eye. It had a schoolboy playing the electric guitar. I stopped to look again on the way back. It was weird for back then, impressed and puzzled WTF? I had only just got my first electric guitar. I wish I pinched that poster now...

We were driving from Rosebud to the Portsea pub for dinner. Came down the highway & jagged left into Sorrento, cars & bods everywhere! We agreed we had to check it out. RSL hall all lit up. Mosied down to the doors, JAM PACKED! Had to almost fight our way in. AC/DC! Never heard of them before that. Hall was jumping off it's foundations and was an instant convert. Needless to say we never made it to the Portsea pub. Will never, cannot ever forget it!
