Robert Ellis, arguably the best official photographer AC/DC was ever associated with, was granted almost full access to the band between the years 1979 to 1982. His legendary photos have appeared on the band's record covers, tour posters and merchandise ever since.
Although his work has appeared in many publications over the years, his work has rarely appeared in AC/DC books, and he went back scanning his entire archives to compile a series of books.
Through his company "The Rock Library," Robert has started publishing a series of coffee table limited edition photo books of the many artists he shot during the 60's through the 80's. "Highway - Inside The Tour," the hardback 30x25cm 192-pages book, covers the band's 1979 tour including numerous photos never published before, with commentary from Robert about his close relationship with the band during those years. The first 350 copies reserved will be personally signed by Robert Ellis and will be shipped with two exclusive double page sized colour posters.
Two other AC/DC books, covering each the "Back In Black" and "For Those About To Rock" tours will follow in the near future.
