AC/DC To Headline Download Festival In June

AC/DC officially announced today that they will headline the Download Festival in Castle Donington on June 11th 2010.

This will be the band's 4th headline concert at the venue which held the legendary "Monsters Of Rock" festivals in the 80's & 90's before being renamed "Download festival."

The news had long been rumored following a brief announcement which was quickly pulled off the band's official website earlier this month. Also on the bill are Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet From My Valentine, Megadeth, Motorhead, Wolfmother and Volbeat, with more bands to be announced.

Tickets go on sale January 29th at 9:00am.
