It was announced today that AC/DC has signed a new distribution deal with Epic/Sony. The band, who own the rights to their catalogue, is thus ending a 26-year association with the Warner Music Group.
16 of the band's 18 US albums are covered by the deal, and are expected to be reissued on CD with new booklets documenting the band's history. Some albums will also be released as collectors vinyl editions, and DVD will also be issued.
The band's next studio album falls under their old Warner deal which expires at the end of the year and will be issued by Elektra most certainly in 2003.
