AC/DC Announces Stadium Tour in Europe

December 12, 2008

AC/DC has just announced 15 new dates of the "Black Ice Tour" in Europe starting May 13th in Leipzig, Germany and wrapping up June 30th in Glasgow. The Stadium tour includes the band's first headlining show at London's Wembley Stadium, 30 years after their legendary performance opening for the Who in August 79. The band will also perform at Paris' Stade de France, almost 8 years to the day after a memorable concert at the venue, featured in the "Plug Me In" DVD. AC/DC will also make their first stop in Scotland on the Black Ice Tour, at Glasgow's Hampden Park, and their first concert in Denmark since 1996. More dates are likely to be added.
