"Black Ice" First Week Sales Could Exceed 800,000 In The US

According to reports from industry tipsheet Hits, "Black Ice" is projected to sell over 800,000 units in its first week, making it Sony Music's biggest album debut in 2 years. It is already out-pacing sales of the Eagles last album, which was also Wal-Mart exclusive in the US.

With the album also currently selling at record pace all over the world, it is almost guaranteed to debut at #1 in Canada, Germany (where sales could reach 250,000), UK (with projected sales of 120-140,000), France, Italy, Australia, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, Australia, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Norway and Portugal.
