This was my very first concert! I do believe it was Whitesnake that opened the show for AC/DC, and at that time no one had even heard of Whitesnake. WOW! Look at both groups now! And Angus better than ever. I will never forget this concert, my first, the BEST!!

I owned TAPE CITY (a Record Store) in Athens TN from 1975 to 1996 and was fortunate to see lots of good concerts, including this one. Contrary to what one fellow posted, it was AC/DC, UFO and the Motors. And, it was only $3!!! Angus came out in his schoolboy outfit, but his cap flew off before he made it across the stage. Once Bon Scott flopped out in the audience on his back and he "floated" on the hands of those on the floor way out until (as if on cue) they turned him and back he came. The roadies had a time feeding him mic cable, though. (This was pre-wireless.)
UFO's Michael Schenker was great with his Flying-V.
    The Motors SUCKED!

My 1st concert, and it was only 13! Neither AC/DC nor UFO were big yet, and this seemed like WAY before AC/DC was played on the radio. The way I remember Bon's trip out into the audience was that Angus got on his shoulders, and they both went pretty far into the crowd....the roadies were feeding Angus' guitar cord, not Bon's mic cord. I can't remember if it was this 1st concert, or my 2nd concert, AC/DC opening for Alice Cooper, where somebody snatched one of Angus' sneakers off his foot while he was rolling around on the stage floor! One more thing I remember was when Bon asked the crowd to sing along with "she's got the Jack"...except that since the crowd was not yet familiar with the song, and because of Bon's accent, everyone sang "she's got the JOCK!" LOL Hard to believe it's been 40 years!!

This show was 40 years ago and it is still memorable. UFO and AC/DC for $3. I still have the ticket stub. Motors were OK. The opening song was their hit at the time. UFO rocked. The Lights Out tour just after the albums release.
Then AC/DC on the release of Let There Be Rock. A year or so after High Voltage. Yes, Angus was on Bon Scott's shoulders during Bad Boy Boogie. Scott walked from the stage, through the crowd, across the floor to the back of the Coliseum and back to the stage. Never seen a band so in touch with the audience before or since.
I've seen AC/DC a few times since then, and many other bands. I but mark this concert among the best. Thanks for the memories!

They referred to this show as the Turkey Trot Treat...it was the day before Thanksgiving. I remembered Angus in his velvet school uniform walking the ledge in front of the massive speakers jumping up and down never missing a beat.....my first concert I was 15 good times.
