    By Peter Dix, United Kingdom:
I remember this gig as 1 of the best gigs I ever saw but its a bit hazy now with the mists of time. Sadly I missed the gig the previous year in my home town of Blackpool!
Lancaster Uni in those days was a great venue with most of the top bands of the day playing there such as Thin Lizzy, Supertramp, Bad Co. etc. etc.
The hall is like a big school hall with a narrow balcony around the outside probably early 60s.
I was at the front in the thick of things and was amazed by Angus and his then revolutionary wireless guitar. I remember Bon carrying Angus on his shoulders through the audience and Angus starting the encore from the top of the PA stacks, with roadies holding them to prevent possible collapse.
I also seem to remember Phil doing his own soundcheck and set up on the kit after the support band.
That's about all I can remember about the gig but they were also on TV a week or so later on BBC form the now famous Hippodrome gig, so I guess it gives a clue about the performances at that time. The soundtrack of that TV show was on permanent play in my car for ages, but I only recently saw the pictures again. Oh the memories.

Yep, I was there. Went up to Lancaster from Preston with my mates on our motorbikes with mates on the pillion -it was freezing! Must have been the `77 show as I was on a moped in `76. One of my first real gigs, waited an eternity for them to come on stage: 10.30pm??, but worth the wait, like Peters review below, I`m a bit hazy, but i I remember Angus playing his wireless guitar (Wow! - as cool as, then!!) whilst on Bon Scott`s shoulders- wandering through the crowd- where the hell could that happen now!..... brilliant, stuff of legend, happy days.

Way back in 1976/77 I was lucky enough to see AC/DC by accident, on one of their first tours here in the UK.
