    By Igor Gruendl, Sarasota, FL:
This was one of those concerts that changed my life. All the big bands were out there Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Yes, Black Sabbath and then came AC/DC. I was 16 and hitched-hicked to the Frankenhalle 20 miles from my home town Schweinfurt. I arrived very early so was wandering around and talked to some of the crew still setting things up. They were a fun bunch and I was invited to come in. Once inside the first band member I met was Bon Scott and then later Angus Young. Bon Scott was very bubbly and laughed a lot. Angus Young on the other hand did one thing and one thing only - play the guitar, hours before and right up to the concert. I received a backstage pass and had a stage view of the whole concert. Just having discovered AC/DC not even 3 months earlier it was absolutely stunning. They play all the "now" classics, but then we heard them for the first time live. No light show, just towering loud speakers and the raw young talent of a band that struck a cord into the Rock Heaven. To this day it is still one of my best concert experiences ever.

I was 16. It was my first live concert! It was like an erruption!!
Never had such a feeling like this!!

The loudness, the power was incredible!!

It was the beginning of everything!!

    Never forgot this day!!

    Rest in peace Malcom!!!

I was 18. A friend of mine and I didn't go to school for our first AC/DC concert. It was the best thing in my life. Starting with Live Wire when Angus played the first riff my mind my ears were blown away. Bon wearing a leopard west singing shouting the devil out of my mind. Bon took Angus on his shoulders and I touched both.
I felt in heaven. No band could reach this spirit of rock & roll that was released in that night. There was no big crowd only a few hardcore fans, since that night AC/DC is in my heart for ever. I saw them many times, I saw tribute bands, I will never forget this gig.
    I am a live wire.
