Opening act for Head East. Bad matchup. When Angus reached between Bon's legs during She's Got Balls, the audience booed and hurled projectiles at the stage. Most of the audience walked out to the lobby leaving about 100 fans to cheer them on. I remember them being much louder than the headliner, my ears rang for days. No help we were 8th row in front of the left speaker bank. Took my sister to see Head East for her 18th birthday, didn't know what to expect, neither did the hippie boogie crowd that came for the headliner.

The concert I attended was 45 years ago, so I have limited memories, however, my friends and I came mainly to see Head East, but AC/DC was outstanding and LOUD! I knew the music of ACDC because I had 3 of their albums (really 8-track tapes), including their most recent release 'Let There Be Rock.' Our seats were about halfway back from the stage and on the left side. I remember that most of the audience was in shock when AC/DC played except for us. Bon Scott was his usual strutting self and Angus Young was on fire. He had a long cord to his guitar and at one point he ran up the aisle, which was cool. And at another point, he laid on stage on his side, "ran" in circles while playing! This was the one and only time I was able to see them live. Yes, many audience members were in the lobby, but they missed a great hard rock performance!!

My friend and I went to specifically see AC/DC. They blew all my friends away when I played the album "Let There Be Rock". That's what you did in those days! I don't remember people heading out but I the two bands had nothing in common. I also went to see them at the Electric Ballroom later in the year. I will never forget that one!
