So, after a few hard months as a die hard fan, with all the rumours, Axl stuff and all that. After watching YouTube for the Lisbon and Marseille gigs... off to Werchter, the first of my 8 upcoming shows... I knew that Axl would do a good job, I knew it was gonna be good... And it was. it was real good. The power of Axl, the setlist, the overall performance... it was just real good. And that comforts me. It comforts me to do my leg with full passion. The give Angus my respect and trust. After all, he was and is the man. The energy, the sheer pleasure he still got... It is just not his time to retire. He made a wise decision / gamble to go for Axl. And it works. It really does for me. But I miss Brian. Not really a show review, more an opinion on the past few months. For my next shows, it will be show reports. cheers!
