On Sunday I was witness of the dress rehearsal (audio only) and had a swift meet & greet with Angus, so I was already a happy man before the gig started. I was full of confidence that the band is in great shape. "It is another band than back in 2010" were the words of one of the bands instrument technician on Saturday.
When entering the stadium it became all visual, audio I already got on Sunday. Podium not that big, but the Gelredome is not that big a stadium, so I think it will "grow" in bigger venues. Immense screens.
Vintage Trouble is a great opener: Jazzy, bluesy rock n roll. Me and a lot of people around me really enjoyed it.
Than AC/DC. They just nailed it. Great intro, but I have to check Youtube for some video's, because I was to close to the stage to get it all in. And Then the engine started. Oh My god. So tight, so smooth, unbelievable. Setlist was no surprise for me. I noticed just 1 big mistake during FTATR. Brian is in great shape, maybe not vocally, but he is fit. Really fit. He even lost his hat during his dance moves! Stevie and Chris did their job really well. Cliff stood cool in his place, doing his job. The backing vocals were my biggest questionmark, Stevie isn't as good as Mal, but it was OK. And Angus... What can I say. 60 years old, and pulling this of. Not a wrong note. Giving it all, just insane to watch. No striptease, finished the show with his shirt on, and again, The black/white Gibson SG.
Next stop for me: Hockenheim!

Great concert, great band. Saw the band for the first time in '79, with our hero Bon Scott, also in Arnhem.
Hope to see them again in Gelsenkirchen in July.
