Fan reviews:

By Joseph, Liverpool:
This was the first time I saw my heroes live, I was thirteen at the time. My Dad and older sister took me. Dokken supported and were awful! Red cardboard SG's were given out beforehand, for the That's The Way I Wanna Rock And Roll video. Started with Who Made Who, about 12 people on stage dressed as Angus, until the real one rose up from behind the drums. I screamed for him first! The loudest Cannons I've ever heard. Best Band In The WORLD!
Don't You Dare Retire! ANGUS

By Andy Watt, UK:
This was my first proper rock gig, and I was lucky enough to be right down front. The arena was all seating back then. Dokken opened the show and I thought played a pretty good set. The guitar player was outstanding.
I still have what's left of my cardboard Gibson SG from the 'that's the way I wanna rock and roll ' video. Were we meant to pretend we were playing them? Tricky when you've got 10,000 ac/dc fans going nuts behind you. The gig was off the scale brilliant. Down the front we were all soaked with the sweat from Angus Youngs hair, and by the time those cannons went off we were all deaf too. My ears were buzzing for days, but what a show. So glad to have seen them live back then . In light of recent sad events, the memories of this gig have become even more special. RIP Malcolm Young
