Fan reviews:

By Dee Wheatley, Houston, TX:
I was at this concert and it was the most amazing set I have ever seen. Small venue and the band was right in your face. Bad boy boogie in the crowd with Angus on Brian's shoulders. Made me a fan for life !

By Jack Guidry, Alexandria, LA:
AC/DC had played the night before at Sam Houston Coliseum and there was a buzz on KLOL that the band was still in town. Later that day we heard the words "Major Concert Announcement" .....AC/DC at the Agora Ballroom tonight only! Scrambled for 3 tickets and got them. Zero Stone opened up and did not disappoint. I will never forget sitting at my table with a drink in my hand and having Angus Young sitting atop Brian Johnson's shoulders walking past my table, it was surreal. So damn loud, so great, a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them in such a small venue, my friends and I still talk about it over 35 years later!

By John Hancock, Houston, Texas U.S.A:
I was driving in front of the Agora when the tickets were announced on KLOL. I had the best table in the place touching the stage. Angus & Brian laughed at the napkins in our ears. It was loud but it was good! Unbelievable memories from that night. The crowd was mostly radio people. The band had huge silver fans blowing every direction. They sounded great. AC/DC works hard for the money. They deserve every penny because they brought that much joy to the crowd. Once in a lifetime show for me. Thank you AC/DC! Great Job by a great group of guys! Announced on the radio at 2pm. Suprise gig, tickets on sale NOW!! My high school friend's band Zerostone opened. (Joe Allen on drums). You shook me All Night Long was not a hit yet. Killer to see them in your face, perfect sound, once in a lifetime chance, but beyond that, my Mom and Dad worked in that building when it was Dance City USA. I had been in that building a thousand times since I was 5yrs old. Dig it baby!!!

By Bob, Las Vegas, NV:
This was one of the greatest stories of my life. I had no idea AC/DC was playing that night. I was going to the club "Cooters" down the way. I was approached by this guy that had 2 tickets to the concert but his son was not 18 and couldn't get in. He asked if I would buy a ticket from him. I asked who was performing. I still can't believe he said AC/DC. I wound up banging on the stage. I don't know why, after all these years, I decided to look this up but now I know the exact date. GREAT MEMORY GREAT CONCERT
