    Fan reviews:

    By Rob, Laveen, AZ, USA:
I was there, I was 16 years old and this was maybe the 3rd concert I had been to. In short, it was phenomenal. I remember it being really packed with fans and a bit rowdy. I'm surprised to see here that it wasn't sold out. During the show Angus made his way out onto the floor and through the crowd all while playing like a 15 minute solo. He ended up on the floor writhing and rocking out while the fans were going crazy. At one point he was about 5 feet away from me on his back on the floor playing insanely all the while. One of my best childhood memories.

Wow! A few of us were discussing our best concert experiences and AC/DC at Ag Hall in Allentown, PA was my very first concert (well my first concert unaccompanied by an adult. I went with my best friends: Joe S., Karen L., Frankie K., Bob W., Louie D., and Jerry S. I won't use their full names to keep them incognito much like the cover of US "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" LP! We all were so pumped to see our favorite band and do some partying. I was 15-years-old at the time. My friend Jerry S. smuggled a 3 ft. bong into the concert in his pant leg. It was home made out of one of those Killer Cane weed killer tubes! Yeah we were pretty stupid kids! I thought there was no way he was getting it past security but because it was so long in his pant leg he walked with a limp and I guess they didn't want to frisk him cuz he looked crippled. We were all sitting on the floor smoking up and were quite surprised that AC/DC came on first. The set was short (as you can see) but man it was awesome! It was so packed and everybody just kept pushing toward the stage. My friend Bob W. passed out from the heat. I mean the place had a tin roof with absolutely no ventilation in July in Allentown. Do the math. Anyway, such a great memory and such a great show. My apologies to UFO but we sort of pealed of to the sides by the doors to keep cool and really didn't care much for their set. We were there for AC/DC!

I was at this show with friends Sammy and Dave. I was 14 years old and this was one of my first concerts. AC/DC co-headlined with UFO. This was a general admission show with no seating. The place was packed and smoking (if you know what I mean). AC/DC and UFO put on a great show and Angus Young was energetic and incredible. I also remember him taking a lap through the crowd while soloing. Everyone was going crazy! Great show, great memories, and made me a lifelong AC/DC fan!
