Für mich das erste AC DC-Konzert einer damals noch als Geheimtip gehandelten Rockband. Als Vorgruppe gab es Epitaph aus Deutschland.
Diese Show war ein absolutes Highlight meiner bisherigen Konzert-Karriere. Energiebündel Angus lief damals wohl einige Kilometer während der Show. Damals konnte er auch noch ungehindert auf Bons´ Schultern durchs Publikum, was im Audimax als großem bestuhlten Hörsaal mit bester Sicht für alle ein besonderes Erlebnis war, weil die beiden wirklich ungehindert plötzlich hinter unserer Sitzreihe auftauchten. Ich bin mir nur nicht mehr sicher, ob zu dem Zeitpunkt überhaupt noch jemand gesessen hatte.

Im selben Saal gab es einen Tag später (oder vorher) ein weiteres Highlight, nämlich Black Sabbath mit Vorguppe Van Halen, welches wir auch besucht hatten.

Zwei bis heute unvergessene Tage.

My second AC/DC experience. This time I thought I was prepared for things to come unlike in 1976. The unlikely venue was Hamburg university's biggest lecture hall, which after the concert, looked like a real battlefield. The band were in fine form, the crowd eager to enjoy themselves hugely, which they did. There was raucous cheering. There were conga lines through the rows of seats. The latter were almost entirely wrecked towards the end of the gig, for people stood and jumped up and down on them so they snapped. (It was all down to good-natured vandalism. There was no aggression involved. Really.) We went on "dancing" on the desks, which would dangerously sway to and fro. I still don't know how long it took to get rid of those cubic metres of sweat that dripped from the ceiling and trickled down the walls.
After roughly 90 minutes the party was over leaving us half-deaf, kackered, soaked in sweat, and elated.

Ich erinnere mich, daß RiffRaff der erste Song war und ziemlich ähnlich des kurz danach erschienenen Life Albums "If you want blood", daß ich glaubte das Set wurde in HH aufgenommen. Das Audimax ist der UniHörsaal mit hochklappenden Sitzen und wir standen alle auf den Tischen. Es gab 3 Tage Hörsturz und Nackenschmerzen vom Mischen... damals waren wir 15 und immer noch eins der besten Lifekonzerte ever had.

I remember that Riff Raff was the first song and quite similar to the life album "If you want blood", which was released shortly afterwards, that I thought the set was recorded in HH. The Audimax is the university auditorium with the seats folded up and we were all standing on the seats. There were 3 days of hearing loss and neck pain from headbanging... we were 15 at the time and still one of the best life concerts ever seen...
