    Fan reviews:

    By Ken Dixon, Mooresburg,TN USA:
It was a crazy night, did not know they were playing there and didn't even know who they were. A friend asked me if I wanted to go hang at the park that night. Well their plane was late getting in, their stage crew never made it. Rocky Point had to be there Stage Crew. Bon Scott got all pissed because his mike kept going off. After the 3rd time he said F-ck this and walked off for the third time. The fans took the sound stage and lighting tower down, Rocky Point employees that were up 12 ft in the air came down with the stage and went to the Hospital. Bon Scott came back out and played the whole night and no mics were used. It was a night I will never forget. And on top of it all it was raining the whole night on and off.

I saw AC/Dc at Rocky Point Amusement Park in August of 1978. I was in front leaning on stage. The pressure from the back audience pushed until I fainted from lack of oxygen. I regained consciousness instantly and saw one of the best live concerts ever. The sound was amazing; and Angus had so much energy that I ever saw. They were very small but encased more talent and sound than the previous bands I have seen. I am very happy that they have endured through the ages and I will miss tremendously the former ones. Malcolm Young was the leader and the backbone of this band, but his brother Angus took on the responsibility and should be commended. God Bless AC/DC.

Was working that day got there early to have a drink at the bar, and Bon Scott was at the bar. I didn't know who he was at the time, got to talking and actually bought him a shot of Jack Daniels and worked the cotton candy booth that night, which was at the most 60 feet away. Best night a 19 year old ever had.
