    By Greg Kelly, Carlisle, UK:
My first ever live concert. I was 15 years old and was in the front row! Bon Scott was awesome. Angus was legendary. I always thought I remembered Angus being passed around the crowd on his back during a solo in Let There Be Rock? Perhaps I imagined this? No other band were as raw as them!

I was at Carlisle gig and they were simply awesome then and still awesome, saw many great bands them days but AC/DC will always be ingrained in memory.

This was the day after my 18th birthday. I grew up in Dumfries, and went to the concert with a group of people from school and had a raucous time. Punk was in full swing by then but this was still a must-see because AC/DC was a big name for Carlisle and they had fun songs. Angus was carried around the auditorium on Bon Scott's shoulders during a guitar solo - first time I had seen a guitar with a wireless transmitter. I remember it was kind of weird that very loud guitar was coming from the speakers on stage, and a twangy version from the guitar right next to me. Market Hall floor was very wet with beer or cow "juice", or a blend of both, with some of us running or sliding through it because - well - I don't remember why. Great show, ears ringing for a days or so afterwards.

I was at the Carlisle gig. First big concert for me and a real privilege to see this line up. I Remember Angus’s head never stopped ! Bon was such a presence. Supported by British Lions, also legendary performers in their own right. Great memories…

I was 21 when I went to the 1978 powerage concert. It was my first big concert and i will always remember being right next to the massive speakers to the left of the stage, with my 2 mates, which nearly blew my brains out. To this day I have a ringing I'm my ears from that concert. Tinnitus. But I will never regret being there with the amazingly brilliant voice of Bon Scott. And I really don't know how Angus Young has so much energy all the time. RIP Bon and Malcolm. For me, you will all allways all be the best rockers. ever.
