  • AC/DC relocates to Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles and restart the recordings from scratch. Mike Fraser is co-producing with Rick Rubin.
  August 95
  • 22: The filming of the "Hard As A Rock" video at Bray Studios in Windsor, UK. Directed by David Mallet.
  September 95
  • 15: Single, "Hard As A Rock – Caught With Your Pants Down", released in Australia.

  • 18: Single, "Hard As A Rock / Caught With Your Pants Down", released in Europe.

  • 22: "Ballbreaker" released in Europe and Australia.

  • 26: "Ballbreaker" released in the US.

  • The band receives an award from Warner Music Int’l to commemorate the sale of more than 80 million albums worldwide (except Australia and New Zealand).

  October 95
  • 10: "Ballbreaker" released in Japan.

  • 14: "Ballbreaker" enters the US Billboard charts at #4. It will be certified Platinum in the US.

  • 25: Remastered catalogue, pre-1985, released in Australia. Albert Productions also reissues all of the post-1985 albums with lyrics included.

  November 95
  • Single, "Cover You In Oil", released in the US. This single is not available for retail.

  • 23 - 24: The filming of the “Hail Caesar” video in London. Directed by David Mallet.

  • 27 - 28: The filming of the “Cover You In Oil” video in London. Directed by David Mallet.

  December 95
  • 6: Single, "Hail Caesar – Whiskey On The Rocks – Whole Lotta Rosie (Live)", released in Europe.

  • 21: Remastered catalogue, pre-1985, released in Japan.
